These photographs were made using ortho litho negative film. Printing out of my apartment in New York City, I used an old 4X5 press camera in place of an enlarger to project the negatives onto a wall. The images were then developed by hand in my bathtub, each one resulting in a slightly different variation. Additionally, each image has an alternate version in which portions of the photograph were stained with black tea.
