The Fear

The Fear was started in 2012 and consists of a countdown synced to a track of my recorded heartbeat. The work was inspired by a scientific study that found all mammals to have approximately 1.5 billion heartbeats in the span of a lifetime. My hope is to incite reflection on time and mortality by quantifying the human life.
