Perspective is once again turned on its head in a work commissioned by Adobe for the Festival Of The Impossible. The piece draws on the collective fantasy of flight by suspending a viewer from a swing in the physical world, while allowing her to soar through a virtual landscape turned upside-down. The work arose from my interest in the continuous blurring of boundaries between our real and imagined selves with the aid of ever improving virtual technologies. By combining physical sensation with responsive virtual graphics, I attempt to test the limits of the human brain to suspend disbelief.
